the only people for me are the mad ones, the ones who are mad to live, mad to talk, mad to be saved, desirous of everything at the same time, the ones who never yawn or say a commonplace thing, but burn, burn, burn like fabulous yellow roman candles exploding like spiders across the stars and in the middle you see the blue centerlight pop and everybody goes 'awww!'

    dec 25, 2001. my 21st birthday. pittsburg int. airport, delayed, delayed, delayed, canceled. no bars or resteraunts open b/c of the holiday, i had three (vegetarian) meals at mcdonalds, and found a plane leaving the next morning for somewhere three hours away from my parents house....my baggage? still in denver.

    i don't have any actual memories, just visions of watching the christmas story like literally 5 times in one day with my sister and brother. i guess some other people were there too, i.e. parents and relatives, but for me, its all about little ralphy shooting his eye out. and that leg lamp.

    i have snippets of memories...like the one when i was 4 or 5. we lived in virginia then. there was a fire going in the fireplace and my dad was crawling around on the floor pretending to be a horse. i can vividly remember the plaid shirt he had on, and i remember the glowing lights on the tree and all the presents underneath.

    now my christmases (what the hell is the plural of christmas?) consist of my mom freaking out, getting drunk, and calling me frankie.

    Dang your mom is a trip. So you haven't recieved my package yet huh? Are you insinuating that I may have mailed it later than I had originally planned, lets say hypothetically on Wednesday? Well, if that's what you are thinking then you are right, ok? Right. The woman at the Post office told me it (air quotes) MIGHT get there by Saturday, but I'm assuming it did not. Shotty mail system. Anywho it should be there ANY day now. Seriously. I did mail it. I know what you're thinking but your wrong. It's mailed. Consider it stepped on. Over and out.
