christmas shopping help
i'm a big fan of insound.com, and i thought you music lovers out there might like to know: they are having a kick-arse sale!! it's a great idea for those music-lovers on your shopping list. buy ten cds from their top 100 sellers of 2005 sale and you save 25% on your subtotal AND (as if that wasn't enough) you get free ground shipping! {disclaimer: no, insound did not pay me to promote them. i just think they're cool enough anyway.} i bought some for myself AND some for gifts. i'm stoked; feels like years since i've bought myself cds. so here's what i got:
Loveless - My Bloody Valentine
Bloc Party - Bloc Party
You're a Woman, I'm a Machine - Death From Above 1979
Picaresque - The Decemberists
Guero - Beck
Push Barman To Open Old Wounds - Belle & Sebastian
Plans - Death Cab for Cutie
Silent Alarm Remixed - Bloc Party
Broken Social Scene - Broken Social Scene
God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman - Pedro the Lion (7")
Mass Romantic - The New Pornographers
on another note, here are some other cool sites with great gift-giving ideas in the form of kick-arse t-shirts: www.defunker.com and www.chocosho.com. check. them. out.

Nice purchases E. Did I ever tell you about the guy I know named Mr. E? That is a tale for another day I s'pose. Lets just say he's a cross between Count Dracula from Sesame Street and Christopher Walken's Duane Hall from Annie Hall. You've seen Annie Hall right? It's like one of my all time favs. P.S. I'm mailing your package today, complete with christmas, birthday, baby birthday, mixes and many other goodies.
