the only people for me are the mad ones, the ones who are mad to live, mad to talk, mad to be saved, desirous of everything at the same time, the ones who never yawn or say a commonplace thing, but burn, burn, burn like fabulous yellow roman candles exploding like spiders across the stars and in the middle you see the blue centerlight pop and everybody goes 'awww!'

one whole year

today is my anniversary. feels kinda strange to think a year ago today i was pledging my everlasting love to my then boyfriend of 8 years. and now we are hitched and have a kid and share cooties and everything. eeeewwwww! but kinda cool, too. we said we weren't getting each other gifts, since ireland was technically our honeymoon and first anniversary, but i got him something anyway. **sidenote for you guys: when you and your lady agree to not get gifts for each other, know that girls hardly ever stick to this and they always expect you to get them something, anyway!** i got him some mullet magnets, a goddess for his car that flaps her wings when you wind her up, and some raygun gum. oh yeah, and an iou card for another kid. i bet that was his favorite part! he's on the road back home and i'm still hanging out with the in-laws. today we're taking soren to the glenwood hotsprings pool. i just love basking in other people's skin particles. should be fun. and tomorrow i begin the 9-10 hour trek to boy-zee. a shout-out to all my buddies up there: I'LL FREAKING SEE YOU SOON!
