getting in touch with nature
every summer i say i'm going to do lots of camping, and every summer i don't. so i was happy when we spontaneously and FINALLY decided to go this past weekend. it was also my daughter's first time overnight outside. of course, being 19 months old, she was very into it. she begs me daily to go "ow-side" and for "wak"s, so at least this time she got her fill. she thought the tent was her own personal playhouse, and she didn't want to get out after we'd set it up (of course, later she didn't want to go in when it was time for bed, but she didn't cry for too long). she just about fell into the fire a half-dozen times (no, i am NOT a bad mother, she's just an energetic kid!) and thoroughly enjoyed the camp food (at least, her clothes did). it was a nice weekend, and i am still recovering.

Hi there, that is a funny picture. How are things down there in the continental defide region? Things here are weird, everything is going in slowmotion and time is flying as it has never done before, so, I guess that doesn't make any sense but then again, a lot of things don't anyway. Could you send me your home address again? I hope you all are doing some relaxing in your holidays, how was the 4th of july, wasn't Tom Cruise born on the 4th?
