forecast: snow
the forecast for the mountains is snow this week, and since i live at 8180 feet, this means me.
bring. it. on.
i am ready to bundle up, don my scarf and mittens, strap onto my board, and fly down a mountain covered in fresh, soft powder. it rained all last night, literally, so hopefully the temperatures will drop enough tonight to produce the desired precipitation. bring. it. on.
we are putting soren in skiing this year; THAT should be interesting. i'm excited for that AND to be able to snowboard some without her on my back. don't get me wrong, it's fun, but she's getting BIG!
i haven't been home before 7pm so far this week, and tonight will be no exception. i have to jump through some hoops to make way toward my teaching license, and tonight i have an exceptionally interesting module on incorporating mathematics into my (language arts) classroom. WHA? whatever. i just hope i make it home in time to see Lost (and i hope my tv decides to work). i can hear the absolut & tonic calling me now...
p.s. i've had a major glich in my computer, so it'll be a bit longer on those photos of the dancing hotties. i promise they're worth the wait.
